Faith on a Wing and a Prayer

There's one thing you have to have faith in is faith. Seems obvious but really it's not.

We pray for things, all sorts of things. Good weather, more money, better health and the list goes on and on. Maybe we should pray for better faith. Perhaps not believing that you will be given what you ask for is the big stopper. Grinding your prayer to a halt because there's doubt in the back of your mind that it will be given to you for merely asking for something.

You asked for it, now you're in trouble! You're requesting something above your faith level and you expect to be denied because your not good enough. Just like a little kid who's asking for something but expects to be lectured on how much that will cost.

Perhaps if the kid asks, “What can I do to get a cell phone?” The reply might be, “Do the lawn every weekend and I'll get you a cell phone.”

You have to do something to get something.

Believe me when I say, “You've been given a ton for free, Every thing else you have to work for.”

What have you been given for free? How about an entire planet! You were born onto it and you can do anything you want with it just remember for every action there is reaction.

Do something bad and there will be something bad happen in your life. Do something good and something good will happen in your life.

It can't be that simple, wrong, it is.

An entire industry has been set up to believe in yourself and you can be rich, hundreds of times over. Just Google how to get rich on your computer and there's thousands of websites telling you how to do it for the low, low price of whatever!

I suspect that those getting rich are the one's running those websites, not the customers. Maybe the customers didn't have enough faith in the website. There's a joke in there somewhere.

Have a little faith but in what? A website? A positive motivational speaker? A new book promising answers? Well yes and no.

I know something that comes in all languages, is filled with motivational speakers and is published in an Old version and New version and they tie together to make the most powerful statement ever. It's the Bible, ever read it?

Sure some of you have but didn't understand it all. Like reading Shakespeare some of the language is hard to get past. What you need is someone to explain it. Oh say an expert on it, someone how has really studied it, say like a Minister at a learning centre called a Church. I bet there's one in your neighbourhood!

So if the self help books and video aren't doing the job why not turn to the oldest self help book there is, the Bible and get help studying it at church where there is a minister to explain the stories and how they can effect your life in a positive manner.

All you need is a little bit of faith on a wing and a prayer. The prayer you can do in church and any empty seat comes with an Angel complete with wings ready to push you in the right direction if you're open to listening.
