Angels Are Still With Me

They never left after my chemo treatment. The Angels Are Still With Me through each day and night. Their presence eases my mind and soul. I count myself blessed.

Sunday comes and I'm off to church to keep my promise to tithe and give offerings. The church is 45 minutes away. Yes I could go to another church closer by but this church is the same one I was married in 28 years ago. Different building but the same congregation.

Unity is a prayer ministry and that suits me fine. Everyone praying for themselves, loved ones and for strangers seeking help. This is a non denominational church that takes everyone. Just look, they took me!

Upon arrival I walk across the parking lot and my 8 angels are still with me. This is good because I'm a little nervous. This feeling of nerves quickly goes away when greeted by members of the church. They're very cordial and feeling at ease I relate my story about being a member years ago. All are glad I'm back.

Making my way to a seat I sit and look around. This is a chapel of a much larger church and Unity is using it for their services. The room probably seats around 200 people. A very warm and welcoming chapel. In the background organ music gently plays.

The pulpit, organ, organ pipes and choir are in the corner against two walls. Ceiling is vaulted and the wooden pews are curved so that all may look directly at the pulpit. Stain glass from high on one wall floods colourful defused light into the room. The service begins.

I'm not going to do a play by play of the service just the highlights.

After the first prayer I noticed 4 of my 8 angels had moved to the 4 corners of the room literally encompassing the whole congregation. My prayer was including, through the angels, everyone in the room.

Near the end of the service we all prayed for the neighbourhood, then city, then province and country. Finally the whole world. Each time the 4 angels moved to the 4 corners of the neighbourhood, then city, then province, country and the whole world. My angels were now at the 4 corners of the world and my prayers were being worked on. This would be a good time to say “Wow!”

Another thing happened at the service. Looking around I saw that there were few people there. Perhaps there was between a dozen to two. However filling each empty seat was an angel just sitting, waiting for someone to sit there, someone who needs an angel. I was shown this so I could help fill those seats. Don't know how or when but I'm sure they, the angels, will let me know.

At the end of the service I'd tithed and given a gift to a family who needed some help I turned and there was an old friend of mine who I hadn't talked with in years. We left the church and went to a coffee shop to get all caught up with what's been happening in our lives.

What an interesting day it was. It ended with getting all caught up with a dear friend and the angels getting caught up with me!
